"We hired Earthscape and Lawn Inc. in the summer of 2014 to assist us with a total landscape makeover. We had already seen the beautiful patio, fireplace and stone staircase that Gerry had designed and constructed at a family member’s home in Westford so we knew he did great work. What we didn't appreciate at the time was how much Gerry really loved his work – it is truly his passion. When we met with Gerry at our home he spent several hours walking our property to get a better sense of how the property flowed (taking into consideration proper drainage as well). Gerry offered many great suggestions on how best to incorporate the ideas we were considering for our landscape project. We eventually decided on replacing two aging cement stairways with beautiful granite and natural stone stairways which Gerry incorporated into two natural stone retaining walls. Gerry also installed a gorgeous bluestone patio in the back of the house and a bluestone walkway that leads from the front of the house to one of the granite stairways leading to the back. In addition, Gerry also replaced an old asphalt driveway with pavers in a grey pattern with red highlights. The result was striking and we get a ton of comments from people walking by the house that love the look of the new driveway. The final touch that really brought everything to life was the installation of a gorgeous Kentucky bluegrass sod lawn and the creation of the two new flower/shrub beds in the front of the house. The result was beyond our expectations. Gerry and his team did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend him and Earthscape and Lawn for any landscaping project."

"I contracted with Earthscape and Lawn, Inc. in late 2013 to complete the landscaping in back of my house early in 2014. I did not tell the owner, Gerry, that he was the only person I talked to about the work. When we met to discuss the plan, the combination of his great ideas and his passion for the project convinced me that he was the right choice. This was a good call on my part as the project turned out better than I ever imagined. The original plan turned out to be a guideline as Gerry recommended a number of changes as the project unfolded. It was never just a job for Gerry, who was constantly evaluating how things looked and was always looking for ways to make the project turn out even better. The new patios and walls in the back were beautiful, but the problem was that it made the marginal landscaping in the front of the house look bad. I approached Gerry late in the summer and we redid the whole front yard late in the year. In typical fashion, Gerry kept seeing extra potential and made a number of very positive changes during the project. The net result once again was far beyond my initial expectations. Gerry is very good technically at all aspects of landscaping. In particular, he builds beautiful stone walls from scratch. It is easy to build walls using blocks or cultured stone, but Gerry uses carefully chosen natural stones and fits them together as if he was working on a big jigsaw puzzle. The net result is a solid wall that will last forever and look great. Even more than just being technically good, Gerry is a perfectionist who pays attention to every last detail. But the best part of working with Gerry is that he is a genuine artist who loves creating beautiful landscaping. I highly recommend Earthscape and Lawn for any landscaping project. I also recommend that you try to incorporate at least one stone wall into the project, if possible."
